Drew Lock Excited About New Offensive Scheme
5 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock is excited about the team's new offensive scheme under new offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and quarterbacks coach Mike Shula. Lock went 4-1 as a starter in his rookie season and is looking forward to taking the next step after throwing for 1,020 yards and seven touchdowns. He'll also focus on his speed and running the ball more in 2020 when plays break down in the pocket. If the Broncos can upgrade their aerial attack around standouts Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant, Lock could have some appealing upside as a QB2 in fantasy drafts this fall.
