Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis may soon receive a contract extension offer. The club hopes to open up as much money heading into free agency, which began when Richaun Holmes was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Sabonis, who averaged 19.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 7.3 assists last season, remains in the team's long-term plans. His defensive skills have been questioned, and he also battled a thumb injury in 2022-23. But the 27-year-old is a top-10 fantasy option, so he'll likely be taken in the first round in many drafts moving into the 2023-24 campaign.--Dennis Clausen
