The Miami Dolphins plan to interview Houston Texans' linebackers coach Chris Kiffin for their vacant defensive coordinator role. Miami and highly-respected defensive coordinator Vic Fangio parted ways following the 2023 campaign. Kiffin is the younger brother of current Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin and the son of legendary NFL defensive coach Monte Kiffin. The 42-year-old came up in the college football realm but joined the San Francisco 49ers staff in 2018 as a pass-rush specialist. He spent the 2020, 2021, and 2022 seasons as the Cleveland Browns' defensive line coach before joining DeMeco Ryans' staff in Houston ahead of the 2023 season. Houston boasted the sixth-best rushing defense in the NFL during the regular season, allowing just 1,647 total rushing yards.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBallerRead More News
