Dolphins, Texans Agree On Trade Terms For Deshaun Watson
3 years agoThe Miami Herald's Barry Jackson is reporting that the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans have agreed on trade terms for quarterback Deshaun Watson, but the Dolphins want Watson's legal issues resolved before consummating the deal, according to the Houston Chronicle. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross wants clarity from commissioner Roger Goodell on the length of a potential suspension for Watson. Goodell said on Tuesday that the league doesn't have enough information to place Watson on the exempt list, which leaves the door open for him to possibly play this year, but it's highly unlikely that his legal issues will be resolved anytime soon. Even though Miami and Houston may have agreed on a trade, a Watson trade isn't imminent, and Tua Tagovailoa remains the starting QB for the Dolphins heading into Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills.
