The Miami Dolphins officially named Anthony Weaver as their new defensive coordinator on Saturday. Weaver most recently served as the defensive line coach and associate head coach for the Baltimore Ravens, where he had been since 2021. The former second-round pick played for Baltimore and the Houston Texans during his seven-year NFL career. He will be replacing Vic Fangio, who left Miami for the defensive-coordinator job with the Philadelphia Eagles. Weaver will take over a Dolphins defense that ranked 10th in yards allowed per game and seventh in rushing yards allowed in 2023. They fell off toward the end of the year due to key injuries, and they could also be losing prominent players to free agency in March.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
