DJ Chark Jr. Dealing With Hamstring Injury

Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. (hamstring) is dealing with a hamstring injury at training camp, according to the team. Chark was unable to practice on Wednesday, and his availability for Week 1 of the regular season could be in question. The 26-year-old will almost certainly sit out Friday's preseason finale against the Detroit Lions. The Panthers are currently dealing with their share of receiver injuries, as Terrance Marshall Jr. (back) and Laviska Shenault Jr. (concussion) are also injured. Chark is an injury-prone, inconsistent deep threat in a new offense led by rookie quarterback Bryce Young, so he'll most likely go undrafted in standard 12-team leagues, especially if he's in danger of missing Week 1.
