Diontae Johnson Back On The Practice Field
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (knee) put in a limited practice on Wednesday after suffering a knee injury in Week 2 that caused him to miss the Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. It's a good sign for Johnson's availability in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers after he missed all three practices last week. Johnson does have 14 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown in only two games this season, but quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) is already playing through injuries and looked pretty bad in the loss to Cincinnati. The good news is that Johnson has meshed well with Big Ben, and he could have even more targets if JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) is unable to play.
