Devon Travis Dealing With A Sore Knee
7 years agoAs has been the case far too often throughout the young career of Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis, an injury has crept up that is affecting his playing time. On Sunday, Travis sat out for the second consecutive day due to a sore right knee. Travis and teammate Kevin Pillar collided in the outfield on Friday, and he’s felt some pain in his knee since. Considering a knee injury derailed Travis’ 2017, it makes all the more sense for Toronto to play this one carefully. Yangervis Solarte has started in Travis’ place at second base, with Gio Urshela playing third base in place of the injured Josh Donaldson (who Solarte had been playing in place of previously).
