Miami Marlins outfielder Derek Hill (hamstring) will go on the injured list after suffering a right-hamstring strain while running out a grounder against the Washington Nationals on Monday, and he's not expected to return until next year, according to MLB.com. The Marlins figure to officially place Hill on the IL before their series opener on Friday against the division-rival Philadelphia Phillies. The 29-year-old outfielder will end his sixth year in the big leagues (first full season with Miami) with a weak .213/.275/.331 slash line, .606 OPS, three home runs, 10 RBI, 19 runs scored and a career-high seven stolen bases in just 53 games played for the Fish. Hill now has a career slash line of .228/.276/.348 with 14 hom runs, 53 RBI and 23 stolen bases in his six MLB seasons with five different teams. The journeyman outfielder won't be on the fantasy radar in 2026.--Keith Hernandez
