Derek Forbort Recovering From Surgery
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Derek Forbort is recovering from surgery for a broken orbital bone, according to Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK. He missed the team's final two games of the season due to the injury. Forbort finished his first year in Vancouver with 11 points (two goals, nine assists), 39 shots, 77 blocks, and 65 hits in 54 games. He is a pending unrestricted free agent, with Dhaliwal reporting that the Canucks are interested in bringing Forbort back. The 33-year-old adds experience to the blue line, but his skill set does not suit fantasy hockey.
