3 years agoChicago Bears running backs David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert both missed practice on Thursday due to non-COVID-19-related illnesses. It's something to watch with Chicago's backfield, but Montgomery and Herbert should both be available on Monday if they can get back on the practice field either Friday or Saturday. Montgomery had only 10 carries for 42 yards in the Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but he chipped in six catches on seven targets for 39 additional yards to boost his final stat line. And it was Damien Williams, not Herbert, getting the second-most carries (two) behind Montgomery. Against a Vikings defense that has allowed 129.5 rushing yards per game this year, Montgomery will have low-end RB1 appeal if he's healthy enough to suit up on Monday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
