6/12:Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher David Hess didn't make it far into his start against the Red Sox on Tuesday, picking up his second loss of the season. Hess lasted only 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on five hits (including two solo home runs) and four walks with two strikeouts. The 24-year-old now has a 2-3 record with a 4.13 ERA, 18 strikeouts, 12 walks and eight home runs allowed in 32 2/3 innings pitched. He has had some decent starts, but a huge 2.20 HR/9 and underwhelming 4.96 K/9 limits Hess' fantasy value. Hess will face a tough Nationals team in his next start.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
