David Dahl Likely To Start In Triple-A
7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl has gotten hot late in spring training, but he's still expected to start the season in Triple-A, according to The Denver Post's Patrick Saunders. Dahl started the spring session rusty, but he's come on as of late. The issue for him is the same issue that is plaguing prospects Raimel Tapia, Ryan McMahon and Brendan Rodgers, which is that the big league club has nowhere to play them. The youngsters are all very promising prospects, but the Rockies have their starting jobs locked down by the likes of Ian Desmond, Gerardo Parra and Carlos Gonzalez. Unless injuries befall the older generation, it looks like Dahl and company will be left with minimal fantasy value once again, at least to start the season.
