The Detroit Tigers selected LSU outfielder Danny Cabrera with the 62nd overall pick in the second round in the 2020 MLB draft on Thursday. Cabrera dropped to the 26th round in 2017 because of his college commitment, but he was considered one of the best high school hitting prospects at the time. He was one of the top college bats in this year's draft, but he was more steady than spectacular in college. The 21-year-old can hit for both average and power and has a smooth swing from the left side. Cabrera has run a 6.6-second 60-yard dash, but he's an average runner and isn't a huge stolen base threat. A corner outfielder at LSU, he has the arm strength to stick in right field as a professional.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
