Tyrone Taylor Lands on Injured List With Strained Hamstring
Tyrone Taylor (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday with a hamstring strain, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. The Mets recalled first baseman Jared Young from Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move. Taylor has been out of the Mets' lineup the last couple of days with the injury and will now miss more time. The 31-year-old will now be hoping to return later this month to try and help the team get into the postseason. Outside of some modest speed (11 stolen bases), he has been off the fantasy radar, hitting .218 (65-for-298) with only two home runs, 25 RBI and 33 runs scored as a fourth outfielder in New York. Fantasy managers still playing for something in 2025 can continue to ignore Taylor.
