Dallas Keuchel Starting Game 1 Of NLDS
5 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Cardinals on Thursday. The southpaw finished 8-8 with a 3.75 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 91 K's in 112 2/3 innings in his 19 starts for the Braves after getting a late start to the year. Keuchel didn't face St. Louis at all this year, and he's coming into this one with a 3.86 ERA in five September starts. He allowed nine earned runs in two of his final three starts to close the season, so he's not exactly coming into this playoff game with his best stuff. The Cards ranked 10th in the NL with a .755 OPS against lefties, and they finished 11th with 47 homers against them.
