Dak Prescott Expected To Be A Full Participant In Camp
3 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that he anticipates quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) being a "full participant" when training camp begins. It's not a foregone conclusion, and the Cowboys will keep a close eye on their franchise signal-caller, but it's great news as he attempts to have a bounce-back season after his gruesome broken ankle in Week 5 of 2020. Despite the injury, fantasy managers are taking Prescott, on average, as the fifth quarterback off the board after his 27 fantasy points per game in the early going last year was the second-most all-time. He might not have been able to keep up that pace all season, but with all of his receivers returning and a healthier offensive line, Prescott has top-five QB potential as long as his ankle doesn't hinder his rushing ability too much.
