The Chicago Cubs have agreed to terms with relief pitcher Pedro Strop. Strop spent the last six and a half years with the Cubs, but signed with the Reds this offseason. Strop has only thrown 2 1/3 innings this season and allowed three runs over that span. The right-hander spent most of his season on the injured list with a groin injury, but is healthy now and will report to the Cubs alternate training site. It’s likely Strop will be up soon to help a struggling Cubs bullpen, but he can be avoided by fantasy managers for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
