The Dallas Cowboys restructured the contracts of offensive lineman Zack Martin, Tyron Smith and La'el Collins on Wednesday, creating around $17 million in salary cap room, according to a source. The moves get the team under the salary cap with room to make strategic free-agent signings if they choose to do so. Prior to the moves, Martin was set to make $11 million in base salary, Smith $10.5 million and Collins $8.55 million. Their cap hits were $17 million, $14.025 million and $12.05 million, respectively. Currently, Smith's contract runs through the 2023 season, while Collins' and Martin's contracts run through 2024. Smith received a void year in last year's restructure, which puts his dead money on the 2024 cap after his contract ends.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
