Cowboys Impressed With Dak Prescott's Rehab Progress
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) "is right on track or maybe a little ahead of schedule" in his rehab from a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle last year, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. The head coach was impressed with Prescott's extensive workout last Saturday. A second surgery in December to clean up a previous issue has not slowed Prescott's rehab. Prescott has been at the team's facilities four days a week as part of Phase 1 of the voluntary offseason program. The 27-year-old signed a four-year deal worth $160 million this offseason as the franchise signal-caller. Despite his gruesome injury in 2020, Prescott should perform as a high-end QB1 for fantasy managers this season as long as he doesn't have any setbacks in his rehab.
