Cowboys Expect Trevon Diggs To Start Camp On The PUP List
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) is recovering from surgery in January for a cartilage issue, and owner Jerry Jones said he hopes the 26-year-old defensive back treats his rehab more seriously than he did after he tore his left ACL in Week 3 of the 2023 season. Diggs made it back for the start of the 2024 season, but there were frustrations from the team with how he handled some rehab sessions, and it surprised the team that he left Dallas during his rehab work. He played in 11 games last year before suffering an injury to the same knee and had surgery on Jan. 23 for a chondral tissue graft to fix damaged cartilage. The Cowboys expect Diggs to start training camp on July 21 on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowler, had a league-high 11 interceptions in 2021 but has six since in three years.Read More News
