Commanders, Terry McLaurin Far Apart In Contract Talks
3 years agoTalks between the Washington Commanders and wide receiver Terry McLaurin's representatives have continued, according to sources. There has been some progress, but the two sides remain far apart. It's the main reason why McLaurin plans to skip the team's mandatory minicamp this week. He returned to Florida on Sunday to resume training for the upcoming season on his own. The 26-year-old is looking to get paid on a deal similar to the four years and $100 million that A.J. Brown got from the Philadelphia Eagles after they traded for him during the draft. McLaurin will remain a strong WR2 target in fantasy after back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with nine total touchdowns, but he's losing valuable reps in offseason practices with new quarterback Carson Wentz.
