The Indianapolis Colts are declining the fifth-year option on safety Malik Hooker on Monday, according to a source. Hooker will now become a free agent after the 2020 season. The free safety was selected with the 15th overall pick of the 2017 draft. He has 117 tackles (76 solo), seven interceptions, 11 passes defensed and two fumble recoveries in his three seasons in the NFL for the Colts and has yet to play a full season. The 24-year-old had 51 tackles (30 solo), two picks, three passes defensed and one fumble recovery in 13 starts in 2019. If he puts up a solid 2020 season and stays healthy, Hooker could do quite well for himself on the open market next spring.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
