Cade Otton Upgrades to Full Practice
Cade Otton (groin) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday, which was an upgrade over Wednesday, when he was limited, according to Brianna Dix of Buccaneers.com. Otton is battling a groin injury and also missed time in training camp this summer with a hamstring injury, but he appears to be fully healthy now and is trending toward playing in the Week 1 season opener on Sunday versus the division-rival Atlanta Falcons. The 26-year-old could have an elevated role early on in the passing game with both receivers Chris Godwin (ankle) and Jalen McMillan (neck) out, he's pegged as merely a low-end TE2 option for fantasy lineups to begin the year. He's worth a look as a TE2 sleeper if he's active after going for 12 catches, 125 yards and two touchdowns in two games in 2024 against Atlanta.
