Chris Paddack Goes Four Innings In Rehab Start
1 year agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Chris Paddack (elbow) went four innings in a minor-league rehab start for Double-A Wichita earlier this week, allowing two earned runs on four hits while walking none and striking out six. It was Paddack's second rehab appearance since coming back from Tommy John surgery, and the six strikeouts and no walks have to be considered a very positive development. The 27-year-old feels great after throwing 58 pitches in the start. He's next scheduled to move to Triple-A St. Paul to continue his rehab assignment, and he's expected to make his next appearance out of the bullpen. If he doesn't encounter any setbacks, Paddack could come off the 60-day injured list to make his 2023 debut at the tail end of the season for the Twins.
