Chris Curtis returned to the win column with a split-decision win over Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC 297. Curtis was coming off a no-contest against Nassourdine Imavov and a controversial decision loss to Kelvin Gastelum. Curtis outstruck Barriault in all three rounds, but it was competitive in all three. The American finished the fight with 140 significant strikes to Barriault's 122 as he edged out the split decision win.--Cole Shelton
