Chase Briscoe May Struggle Some More At Sonoma
2 years agoChase Briscoe has not seen his 2023 go quite as planned. The No. 14 Ford qualified 24th for Sonoma which is bad enough. However, Briscoe needs results considering he is now 31st in the driver standings. Penalties hurt especially when they dock so many points. Worse, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver does not have those notable results on road courses. Briscoe's practice session were in the 80 to 80.5 second range on Saturday and his qualifying was a full second off from the pole. That raises quite a few red flags for what Sunday might entail.
