4 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers are expected to draft a left tackle with the No. 13 overall pick in the first round of next week's NFL draft. Second-year quarterback Justin Herbert, who won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2020, is hoping the Chargers will be able to select his college teammate Penei Sewell, although the belief is that the stud tackle will be unavailable by the time LA picks. "He's an incredible player," Herbert said. "Whenever you get a tackle like that in the draft, he can change your program. Always a big fan and I'm an even bigger fan of the way he is off the field." With a bright young future under center, Herbert and the Chargers offense are focusing on improving their offensive line this offseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
