Cavan Biggio May Meet The Team In Boston
Cavan Biggio (neck) will meet the team in Boston on Friday for the start of their weekend series. Biggio has been out since May 21 with a cervical spine sprain, and the Blue Jays didn't want to rush him on a short minor league rehab assignment given his struggles to begin the season. The 26-year-old was slashing a disappointing .205/.315/.315 with a .630 OPS, three home runs, 11 RBI, two stolen bases and 14 runs scored in 151 plate appearances before landing on the injured list. Biggio went 1-for-9 with a solo home run and two strikeouts over two rehab games, and fantasy managers that have hung onto him will be hoping that better production will come with better health.
