Carmelo Anthony Stays Passive In Thursday's Loss
Carmelo Anthony finished with fewer than 10 points for the third straight time on Thursday, as he had nine against San Antonio on 3-for-6 shooting. He ended up getting his points exclusively from behind the arc, going a perfect 3-for-3 with his triples. After averaging at least 14 shots per game in the previous months, Anthony has settled for only 12.5 attempts in March, which is having a big effect on his offensive numbers. If a meeting with Denver on Friday doesn't light the fire in his eyes again, then probably nothing will. He's averaged 23.8 points per game in his career against the team that drafted him.
