Carlos Rodon Receives Injection, Could Throw This Weekend
2 years agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (back) received a cortisone injection on Tuesday, and he'll now have a 48-hour window of doing nothing. Rodon will then begin exercising on Friday and could throw off a mound this weekend. The 30-year-old southpaw began the season on the injured list with a left forearm injury. He's past that but is now rehabbing a chronic back injury. Even if Rodon is able to throw off a mound this weekend, he has a ways to go before he'll be making his debut with the Yankees. All fantasy managers can do is hope for the best while keeping Rodon stashed in an injured-list spot. Don't expect to have him back before June.
