Carlos Correa Will Try And Get Going At Home Tuesday
7 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will face Mariners left-hander James Paxton Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park. Correa still has not reached his offensive potential to this point in the season, and a big factor has been his inability to produce at home. Through 104 at-bats at Minute Maid this season, Correa is slashing a sluggish .202/.298/.442 after posting a .333/.406/.581 line in 186 at-bats last season. His current home BABIP of .212 is sure to come up at some point, but right now it is a huge factor as to why Correa is slightly behind his projected fantasy numbers. Correa has a positive matchup against Paxton, against whom he is hitting .389 with two doubles and three RBI against in 18 career at-bats.
