Cardinals Pitching Prospect Tekoah Roby Undergoes Tommy John Surgery
St. Louis Cardinals pitching prospect Tekoah Roby (elbow) underwent Tommy John surgery and is expected to miss the entire 2026 season. The 23-year-old right-hander, acquired from Texas in the 2023 deadline deal for Jordan Montgomery, had made six starts at Triple-A Memphis after being promoted in June. Following a rough start, Roby had allowed just two earned runs over his last 21 innings before the injury. Durability remains a concern, as Roby also missed significant time in 2023. His fastball sits in the mid-90s, but his high-spin curveball is widely regarded as his most effective weapon. Continue to stash Roby in dynasty formats.
