2 months agoThe St. Louis Cardinals are not expected to call up outfield prospect Dylan Carlson this year unless a series of injuries happen above him on the depth chart. Carlson has been impressive, though, winning Texas League Player of the Year after he was promoted to Triple-A Memphis just weeks ago. The 20-year-old switch-hitter led the Texas League in homers (21) and slugging percentage (.518). Carlson is firmly in St. Louis' plans in 2020, and he will play in the Arizona Fall League. The first-round pick in 2016 should play his way into mixed league value next season and should already be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues. He has elite upside with the bat and is one of the most exciting prospects in baseball right now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
