Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward was selected with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The problem is that he probably would have been the seventh QB taken off the board in 2024's draft -- this year's class was severely lacking in overall talent, though. Ward has solid athleticism and nice arm strength, and put up impressive numbers in Year 1. However, he'll be joining a team with a head coach that might not even last beyond this season. His receiving corps also projects to be one of the less-inspiring groups in the league. Tennessee's offensive line played very poorly last season, and Ward's biggest problem is that his good play essentially evaporates when he's under duress, giving way to a much worse signal-caller. While proven veteran Calvin Ridley will lead his receiving room, he does not have many other options to push the ball downfield. As a result, Ward is best left as a QB2 with rushing upside in deeper formats.--John Johnson
