Bubba Chandler Punches Out Seven in Victory
Bubba Chandler enjoyed a much-needed bounce-back on Thursday evening, facing Triple-A Toledo. In this start, the top-ranked pitching prospect in the Steel City tossed 5 2/3 innings of two-run ball with four hits and two walks. He struck out seven. In his last outing, the right-hander stumbled, allowing eight hits and five earned runs against Nashville. Fantasy managers should closely monitor Chandler's production at Triple-A, as he could be in the mix to join the MLB roster in the coming weeks. The right-hander has struggled at times at Triple-A this season, but has also flashed immense upside. With Mitch Keller, Andrew Heaney, and Bailey Falter viewed as potential trade candidates, Chandler could have a clear path to joining the rotation by the end of the month.
