1 year agoThe Colorado Rockies demoted relief pitcher Brooks Pounders to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Scott Oberg in the bullpen. Pounders has been atrocious this season, posting a 7.63 ERA in 14 appearances. He's lasted this long simply because Colorado's bullpen is so bad that Pounders has just blended in. It's not clear why Pounders keeps getting so many chances in the majors since the 7.63 ERA he's posted this year has actually been the best of his three seasons, but hopefully, Colorado will find a way to live without his living embodiment of a dumpster fire moving forward.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
