The Denver Broncos agreed to a three-year contract extension with defensive tackle Mike Purcell on Tuesday that is worth a total of $14.8 million, including $6.8 million guaranteed, according to a source. It's a nice feel-good story for a player that was cut 10 times by six teams before he landed in Denver. Since he made five starts for the Broncos in 2019, their defense ranks sixth in the league with 3.9 yards per carry allowed. The 29-year-old has been crucial for a defensive line that has already lost star Von Miller and big offseason acquisition Jurrell Casey for the season. Purcell has 13 combined tackles (nine solo) and a sack through four games this season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
