Miami Marlins third baseman Brian Anderson (shoulder) underwent a procedure to repair his left shoulder capsule on Tuesday. The surgery was successful and he is expected to be ready for Spring Training in 2022. Anderson had been dealing with shoulder discomfort for a great deal of the year and he attempted to play through it while he was active. He appeared in 67 games for the Marlins this year and slashed .249/.337/.378 with seven home runs, five stolen bases, 28 RBI and 24 runs.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
