Juan Soto Puts on Hitting Clinic in Victory
Juan Soto turned in his best performance of the season in an 11-4 defeat of the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday. Soto set season-high marks with four hits and four RBI and walloped two home runs in a 4-for-5 night. The four-time All-Star got off to a slow start in 2025 (by his lofty standards), but he has emphatically turned it around in June with a .338 average (22-for-65), seven homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs, and 20:11 BB:K in 19 games. Thanks largely to his outburst this month, Soto is on track for another huge offensive campaign. He's now hitting .256/.393/.484 with 16 HRs, 41 RBI, 54 runs, and eight steals in 341 plate appearances.
