Brendan Perlini Records Hat Trick On Monday
6 years agoChicago Blackhawks forward Brendan Perlini led his team to a 7-1 victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Monday, potting a trio of goals to go along with a plus-three rating and eight shots on goal. Traded from Arizona to Chicago back in November, the 21-year-old made his former team pay in this one by registering his first career NHL hat trick. Despite not being fantasy relevant for much of the year ( just 16 points in 56 games), Perlini has now picked up six tallies over his past five contests and suddenly now has nine goals in 34 games in his new uniform. The former first-round draft pick might not provide much more than streaming value in redraft leagues for the rest of 2018-2019 but is certainly a player to keep tabs on in keeper leagues moving forward.
