4 years agoThe Kansas City Royals chose to include their top-rated prospect and 2019 first-round pick, shortstop Bobby Witt Jr., for their 60-player pool for spring training 2.0. Baseball America ranks Witt as the No. 26 prospect in all of baseball heading into the 2020 season. Four of the team's top five minor league position players were also added to the list, including Khalil Lee, Kyle Isbel and Nick Pratto. Top pitching prospects Kris Bubic, Jackson Kowar, Daniel Lynch and Brady Singer were among the 32 pitchers selected. Like most of the top prospects that teams included in their player pools, Witt is unlikely to see any major league action this year, as 2020 would've been his first full season in pro ball if not for COVID-19.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
