Blake Snell Making Rehab Appearance Saturday, Big-League Return to Follow?
Blake Snell (shoulder) will make his "fourth and likely final" rehab appearance for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says that the team will discuss whether to have Snell make another rehab outing or rejoin the major-league team after he gets through Saturday. Snell went down in early April with inflammation in his left shoulder after just nine innings pitched. Snell has thrown nine innings across three rehab outings to this point, allowing two earned runs while walking just one and striking out 17. He has the stuff to be a fantasy ace upon his return, but health and inconsistency have been issues for the talented left-hander throughout his career.
