During the hiring process for the Washington Commanders -- they ended up hiring Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn as their next head coach on Thursday -- former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was considered for the job, according to sources. The Commanders spoke with Belichick and he had support from some of the team's decision-makers, but in the end, the team decided to go with Quinn. There are no more vacant head-coaching gigs in the NFL now, so it's looking like the future Hall of Fame coach will be out of the league in 2024.
