5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will not play in the team's final preseason game on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers. The signal caller started Sunday night's dress rehearsal against the Titans and finished 8 for 13 with 63 yards and a touchdown to JuJu Smith-Schuster. At 37 years old, Roethlisberger has been through enough game scenarios that he needs minimal game work to prepare for the season. It is expected that all three of Joshua Dobbs, Mason Rudolph, and Devlin Hodges will handle the work under center. Roethlisberger is going as a late-round option in fantasy drafts but also presents a solid weekly streaming option heading into the regular season.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
