Austin Dillon has never been a strong road-course racer throughout his Cup Series career. Since he joined Richard Childress Racing in 2014 for his first season, Dillon never scored a finish better than 16th at any road course. Since 2018 at road courses, the driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet picked up two top-20 finishes and never raced at the Daytona Road Course in the Cup Series due to COVID-19. Dillon will start third this week, and despite having a salary that leaves salary cap flexibility, he should be avoided based on the lack of upside for place differential and his lackluster history at road courses.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
