7 years agoRemember a few years ago when Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon was a Gold Glover who was also performing at the plate? He helped them win a World Series, but those days are definitely in the past, and KC is getting to admire an ugly contract every day of the week in the meantime. Gordon's big deal was bad at the time, but it's going to feel worse for a while still, as he continues to be a complete mess at the plate. Coming off a horrific season in which he was one of the worst everyday hitters in the league, Gordon has racked up just four hits in 24 at-bats this spring. Any fantasy owners who thought that maybe a winter off would get Gordon back on track should pack up that hope right now.
