Pittsburgh Penguins forward Alex Galchenyuk is classified as a game-time decision (lower-body injury) for Thursday night's season opener versus the Buffalo Sabres. Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan stated the 25-year-old's status is "encouraging" following the team's morning skate. Acquired via trade in the offseason from Arizona, Galchenyuk will likely line up on the left-wing on the Penguin's second line - a favorable spot in the lineup alongside Evgeni Malkin. Galchenyuk is hoping a change of scenery will help his own production - looking to improve upon a 41-point (19 goals, 22 assists) season in 2018-2019. Fantasy owners will want to check back during warmups to learn more about the American-born forwards status for the opener.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
