NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the San Francisco 49ers have signed former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman D.J. Humphries to an undisclosed contract. Humphries started just two games last season for the Chiefs while recovering from an ACL injury he sustained on New Year's Eve the year before. However, he's reportedly healthy now and should provide decent depth at tackle for the 49ers as teammate Trent Williams (ankle) is still dealing with an ankle ailment he picked up in 2024. A former first-round pick, the 31-year-old started 15 games for the Cardinals in 2023 and has been a starter when he's healthy. It's a solid acquisition for San Francisco if Humphries is past the ACL injury.--Alex CiullaRead More News
