Adam Gase Could Give Up Play-Calling Duties
4 years agoNew York Jets head coach Adam Gase said he's considering giving up play-calling duties after the team's 0-5 start for the first time since 1996. "I don't think I'm ever opposed to try something to change things up. I'd say everything is on the table at this point," Gase said. The Jets have scored more than 20 points just once this year. Running back Le'Veon Bell continues to let his frustration with his lack of touches be known on social media. Quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) and first-round left tackle Mekhi Becton (shoulder) are hurt, and Joe Flacco was 18-for-33 for 195 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 loss to the Cardinals. Bell and wide receiver Jamison Crowder are the only Jets skill players on offense you should be trusting in your fantasy lineups on a weekly basis.
